Any experienced senior managers that have moved between Big 4 firms? Can you speak towards your experience, any struggles, and opportunities in terms of partner promotion? Frankly, EY path to partner seems to be too clouded (long pipeline, no clear direction/path, uncertainty on promotion cycles, etc.) at the moment and I would like to visit all options. Considering a change from audit (SM) to an advisory role - looking at a Director position within Strategy, Finance and Accounting M&A. [Insert typical “should I make the jump” question here]. I’m 3+ years to audit partner and weighing options and exhausted by omnipresent inspection risk and how this impacts day to day (and presume it will continue to get worse). Considering the advisory role 1) job security, 2) exit ops, 3) partnership ops. Anyone recently make a similar jump and could share?

I’ll go first- I’ll tell myself to not overshare, especially to the manager. People will generally make an image of you and judge you on basis of that even if you have changed a lot.

I am mainframe developer and having 8+ years of experience. I am planning to learn latest technology and few of them suggested to learn Oracle CPQ or Commerce cloud.

Great India clearly supported Russia by abstaining on UNSC bill that condemns Russia.
Now India should not expect any support from the UN or the Quad if it is cornered by China eventually.
Also it my make the west ponder over any more FDI in India and they might also cut the existing trade ties and MOUs inevitably affecting the jobs.
