Used to be that you targeted top agencies because you knew they were the ones to be at and opportunities were best, "If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere" mentality. Do they still exist? I've been searching for them and haven't seen or read which are most desirable for Culture, Opportunity and Longevity.

I have been in my current job for 1 year now as a booking coordinator for a logistics company. I have a question. I am a GDS employee wishing to relocate to another country as EY country “x” employee. The plan to relocate to country x was already in motion, if not EY then another org. The EY partner from country x is very interested in having me join their team but not sure about my GDS partner because they will be losing billing and may not like it. I have never done freelance work and was given the opportunity to take part in a cool project. My problem is it’s a proactive case by a brand new agency and it’s their own project, meaning there’s no client who pays for the work. For them it’s PR for their new business, but I think they’re expecting me to work completely pro bono. It does have potential for a great case and I’d love to have it in my portfolio, but is it reasonable for them not to compensate me? Any tips on how to approach this?
