Vanguard has an excellent reputation, but in terms of culture and pay Fidelity tends to rate higher
Exactly. People are looking for better culture, WLB, pay and benefits nowadays. Employee loyalty is a thing of the past.
Both seem to be great companies. Do you have offers from both? That may be the deciding factor.
No they are wasting our time trying to decide which one to apply to
Vanguard has a pretty good culture; good trainings and great benefits. Fidelity is okay. Everyone wants to be the manager. Too much micromanagement.
I personally like ETRADE by Morgan Stanley for client rep position
If you want to learn and grow, Fidelity. Vanguard is a losing business now that everyone does indexing cheaper
Fidelity in terms of pay and WLB. But in terms of career growth and opportunities, Vanguard is your best bet. Just decide based on what you want right now. Good luck!
Vanguard doesn’t have close to as many opportunities
