Nothing to lose if you're young enough - do it
I think it actually helps your candidacy. Isn't innovation and entrepreneurship the core of harvard's curriculum? I could be wrong though lol. Anyway, learning and experience > 100k... Which yells complacency to me. Btw, you're young enough to do this right? Haha
I would jump on it, but sounds like you don't really want to
Some serious doubts between taking the risk or just going for an easy gig making $100k+ and cutting hours and travel. Big decisions. Or even sticking around for GSAP. Ugh
Why not try it? You can always come back to consulting
OP going to work for Vemma lol
Go for it. No risk, no reward! Besides you don't want a silly but fatal case of "what if..?" do you?
Do it - the risk is minimal OP. Can always come back to consulting but why do that if you're not happy
Ha, all I read in your comment is fear and its ruling you buddy. If this is your dream, go write down the pros and cons of both options... Then follow your intuition...
What about impact to my business school candidacy? I'm targeting Harvard / Stanford / Wharton. Non minority male
You're not a new dad or something right? Cuz if that's the case your wife or baby mama might hurt you lol
Haha correct, no baby, no student loans. It's definitely the best time to take the risk on a personal level, but am unsure if I should take the career risk. If I went and worked somewhere else, I'd be able to continue learning from people who know more than I do, rather than grinding on my own and figuring it all out along the way
The concerns are definitely 100% fear based. Entrepreneurship is absolutely my end goal, but it doesn't mean now / this opportunity is the right move
