We had a cat that had cancer that had spread throughout its whole body and the pet owners had a hard time letting it go. Against my advice, they did many surgeries and treatments to prolong the cats' life and it was very hard for the animal, majorly expensive, and owners came back in today to put it down. They were kind of mad at me but also know they did wrong and the whole thing is just. Upsetting.

Is this the first time this has happened to you? In my experience this has been pretty common to have to deal with pet owners who resist the inevitable. In my opinion it really is part of the job: recommending the best care for the animal while navigating and empathizing with the owner's emotional needs too.

I've seen this many times too. Owners can have selective hearing.
Is it possible to provide hospice as an alternative to causing more suffering and give the owners time to adjust to the devastating reality? While emphasizing they are offering kitty one final act of self-less love and the most important one of all, AND emphasizing that It will give them peace of mind after she passes.

smart

I'm sorry you are dealing with this. It's not your fault. Sometimes it's hard for pet owners to accept the fact that their animals who have come to be part of their family are not going to make it no matter how much we tell them.

To all the people searching PGs, i would suggest not to go with any online bookings like nestaway, zolostays.

The ideal thing is to land in hyderabad, book a hotel for two days and then go to office nearby area and search for PGs, you will get 100+ pgs in each location. Have a look at the room size, ventilation , bed size , if required taste the food also before booking PG. In case you need flat then also you will see " To let " boards everywhere, just call the number

Lawyer Couples:
I’m currently an associate (no kids) in a very busy corp group (think 50-60 billable weekly). My wife works significantly less (currently part time, 10-15, but hopefully will be full time soon). I find myself getting upset when asked to help with basic household things (trash, cooking etc.) when she’s been lounging around watching Netflix all day. Am I being reasonable or am I a misogynist? How do you deal with one person having significantly more free time than the other?
