We had a customer come to our wine customer service desk and slammed a bottle of wine on the desk. While he stared into oblivion we kindly yet starkly said oh sorry, this isn’t a register, all the while at the same time he unscrewed the bottle and chugged the whole thing in front of us all. He was a man in his late 20’s off his meds got away from his mom whom was getting his meds at the pharmacy counter at the time. Security and police were called as the mother came running!

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

Someone came in and ordered 60 bacon double cheeseburgers… my crew thought I was kidding. 😅

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any
