I’m (early30s) about 8 months into a relationship with a 40m. Things are wonderful in every aspect, but he is absolutely atrocious with his finances. I felt it becoming an issue about two months ago. He forgets about auto payments and just generally doesn’t care. I sat down with him and looked at everything and even after talking it out he still continues to stress and it’s now causing me stress. Brand new to investing! Husband and I are 37, don’t have any investments other than the home we currently own. Sitting on atleast 100g worth of cash....

Have about $15-20k to invest. Want to mix it up between short term and long term investments. Any ideas or opinions where should i put it?

If I’m right on the cusp of hitting the contribution reductions for a Roth IRA for 2021 (will potentially have a greater than $125k AGI depending on bonus amount, but likely won’t exceed $130k), what should I do? I can fully find the $6k right now to a Roth, fund like $5k and then wait until June when I find out my bonus amount to decide what to do with the rest, or should I just do an IRA->Roth conversion just to be safe?
