I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

I was and think Protiviti has been very flexible about hybrid and trusting in the workforce with not mandating any certain days. Management has been very focused on “how we hybrid” this year. However, if the client wants you on site it’s expected that the team goes unless you have an exempt reason. Personally I haven’t heard many clients or teams doing this regularly unless it’s for an offsite week or big meetings, though.
Yes, pre-Covid I was at client sites 4-5 days a week (some local, some travel) and in the Protiviti office maybe once a month. This year, I’ve only spent 5 days at a client site. My clients vary on being remote or in person, so there’s less need for us to sit next to them in person. However, this will vary based on your solution and clients.
Agree with P1 about Protiviti focusing on hybrid. Our local offices are open which has been a nice way to meet people. In my office, there’s a solid amount of people who go in at least once a week.
I would be very surprised if any clients reverted to expecting consistent on-site time. Generally speaking, they've been more than happy to not pay travel expenses, not have to get us keycards, not block cubes/conference rooms, etc.
I would expect to see *some* travel show up to facilitate onboarding, team cohesion, sales... that sort of thing. So I think it will be rare to not be 100% remote for much longer. But I can see 50-80% remote being reasonable, with the balance being in your local office and at the client. YMMV - talk to your advisor, solution lead, and OML.
