We’re testing GoSystem to see if we like it. Last night I had a situation where return & estimate instructions were wrong or missing. I couldn’t find an option to edit in the return so I had to PDF edit them after printing. Another off one was the MN PTE form had numbers over numbers when printing but in GS it looked good. Am I missing something? Any advice?

I would recommend go with One-source Income Tax, it’s from the same company but software is more advanced and more user friendly especially for business returns. Most big firms have moved from GoRS to One-Source Income Tax and that’s the reason if there is an issue it’s solved way quicker.

Forms not final? Drake has some forms that are approved for e file and you can view them but you can't print them yet

Can’t you see the letter/filing instructions on the forms tab? Or whatever it’s called. It has been a while but I thought there was a folder buried in there.

When Fast Tax (we called it Slo Tax) first came out it was input forms in totally different format than tax return. Had to learn both.

You Fed Exed the forms to Dallas. Or, if you were in Dallas, they had a late night drive up window like a Burger King.

They took mainframe down every night from 12-4 AM for maintenance so you would be on phone to their control room at midnight telling them to hold off taking it down until you hit the button for one more super expedite compute ($$$).

funny

You can edit instruction pages in the organizer, under letter.

PDF filing instructions in GS is normal. Most state filing instructions forms don’t even print with the correct form. That and the signature date to qualify the locator are the only things I pdf edit in GS. Or sometimes I’ll add NONE/0 since some states starting printing as blank.
