So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Just do it - there is literally no downside. No one will ever say “why did this person thank me for my time?”
You should be completely honest with recruiters. They are personally motivated to get you the job because that's how they get paid. Definitely let them know.
I always do. It's a simple thank you for consideration.
Too eager? No employer will ever worry about that.
It will separate you from 97% of candidates.
I’ve probably done 50 interviews this year, and gotten 2 emails and 1 card.
On the other hand, I’ve mailed gifts to at least 4 candidates I really liked.
Stop overthinking this and send the email. It's a human decency thing. They'll appreciate it for what it is - a two-sentence email - without psychoanalyzing you and your reasoning for sending it.
