Ex-New Yorkers who are now living in ATX—how was the transition? Anything you had a harder time with than you thought? Already missing all my favorite restaurants, being able to walk basically anywhere, and as shitty as it could be, public transportation.

I've been working as a host for an expensive restaurant for a year. Considering how much a dish costs here, I don't understand why we can't be paid well instead of having to rely on tips to survive.

What is the impact on rating and overall, if I have got all snapshots good but for one snapshot its like at level for 4 parameters and 1 parameter partially demonstrated at level and have got a development action on that. I interviewed with a company last week and the interviewer said he would submit my notes to the hiring manager and I would hear back this Monday from HR on next steps/if they want to move forward. I didn’t hear back yesterday so I emailed HR and she said she wasn’t part of the hiring decision so would reach out to the initial interviewer for his feedback. I haven’t heard from her and it’s been 24 hours - starting to get worried. What should I do? Does this mean they’re not interested?
