What do they test in a VC interview? Do they also have LBO modelling like a PE?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. Are you traveling during the pandemic or have client interactions been virtual? Lastly, if you are a consultant here, are you on billable hours? My current consulting role is not - so this would be new.

waiting on a final written offer, messaged the recruiter yesterday but received an automatic reply stating she won’t be back until tomorrow. Email stated to reach out to another recruiter for immediate assistance so I did. I emailed her , she said these offers do take some days because of the Hr and HM has to sign it. Once that happens my recruiter should send me the offer. Either on the day she comes back, but by the end of the week. I am going stir crazy, I really hate my current job. Help…

Beware a company called apnaklub currently hiring across functions. They are knockoff udaan with zero ideas who somehow managed to get some funding. They will do interviews for 1 month+ and then ghost you totally wasting your time.

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? How early is too early to ask for a raise?

Anyone have a smart scale they like? I just got this Withings scale and it is all over the place with the body fat measurements. A good 8 points higher than the inbody at my gym. And also just swings like 3-4 points on its own. I’m fine if it’s off, but I want it to be consistent with itself so I can check my progress.

I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. Most companies for some reason are requiring 2-3 years of experience for the Associate role. 😭 Any Sales Engineers who know of companies hiring those with no experience? I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?
