I work at home, so I set a strict schedule. 8AM to 5PM. Never opening my laptop after 5PM, especially before bed, even to check my emails. I made the mistake of working too much when I started as a CM. Now that I'm a bit more experienced, I can fit all my work into my schedule without breaking a sweat
A normal workday is able to work at 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. During big projects I have to stay for 13 hours at work. That's exhausting.
Checking emails, team meeting, planning content, do research on the market
I work for about 6 hours a day going through forums. Deleting or reporting comments or planning content to feed the community
My day looks like spending hours a day replying to comments and recording feedback and observation into a spreadsheet for my team to see
At one firm, I mainly produce content and CM for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I'm expected to write three posts each week across all platforms, but I'm frequently pushed for more, as well as three articles on a niche area that I slack on since there's so much weird stuff to do on social media.
