I have cleared the all interview round of Tata Consultancy
Today i got call from HR she said your profile is on hold due to budget issue.
My problem is thats I have not yet resigned from my current job and Due to 3 months NP none of them ready to take my Interview.
Feeling Demotivated now after TCS ' HR call.
TechStack : .net core + Angular.
After 2 rounds of interview (1 hour each) , Deloitte usi hr is telling me that due to organisational restructuring the offers are on hold. I’ve had to do a video interview once and though I did somehow make it to the next round and even got the job, it was a terrible experience. So many people are not comfortable on video and combining it with a job interview was discouraging for me. It’s a very impersonal approach to filtering candidates. A series of questions scroll across the screen and you have a limited time to respond while you talk at a screen, not a human being. I ended up leaving the job 6 months in because it was a toxic environment and looking back, the video interview was a red flag.
@Claims Adjuster 1 : examples of toxic work environment were lack of trust and respect among staff and leadership; poor direction from leadership (unclear expectations for example) ; high burnout.
I had assumed by video interview the author meant the video interviews where it’s a computer program that conducts the interview and you’re not speaking to a person. It’s similar to an online exam where the questions are released individually; you have a minute to read the question, and then a countdown to respond. When responding, you’re talking to the computer, not a human being.
I’ve done interviews over Zoom, and those are completely different. They are fine and worked as a suitable alternative during Covid ; but I feel in-person is better (from the perspective of both the interviewer and interviewee).
Pass, I don’t even apply for jobs that ask for a cover letter
