Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

They will want you to know their product first. How to deploy it on AWS/Azure is usually not a concern for pre-sales.

It’s step in the right direction. Independent 1 is correct that this reads cloud agnostic so not the final destination
Presales is sales up to the point that the customer decides they want the thing. Best performed by an expert in the software. More fixed comp.
Sales is sales after the customer has decided they want the thing, more dealmaking, terms, structuring, contracting, deployment details. Mostly variable comp.
Chief
Pre sales is often very hands on with the associated product(s). You need to be able to give technical demos and articulate how this would positively impact the customer.
Sales is generally more focused on the deal specifics
Depends on the role. Technical presales is just that, technical.
You will have to figure out how your product will meet the customer's requirements and fit into their technical environment. You will build a lot of demos that show how your product will run on X or integrate with Y. You will focus on the downselect.
