Hello! This is a long story, so I’ll try to keep it brief. I work for a very small supplement company - it’s myself (marketing/acct mgmt) my coworker (sales), and the owner. My coworker is struggling to complete his tasks/meet his goals, and the owner is coming to me about angry clients. I’m afraid my coworkers inability to complete his duties is somehow being reflected onto me? What’s the most tactful way to have a conversation, either with him or the owner? I’m still in the entry levels of digital marketing and I’m looking to expand my skills. What would you suggest to get certified in or skills / programs to learn.

I recently accepted a job that I quite overqualified for because I’m in need of a job. I got hired as a Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Director. Come to find out my director is still in school and has absolutely no marketing experience. She’s been with the company for 4 months. They seem to want to utilize my complete skills set and make up for her lack of marketing knowledge but maintain her position as director and pay me a entry level marketing manager salary. Advice?

I make most of my wooden furniture, know basic electrical and plumbing work, can cook and bake delicious food, can do most of the basics in car repairs, garden, and make a lot of my own clothes. I work with a team in India and communication has been hard. I’m fluent in Hindi and sometimes switch to Hindi so it’s easier but when non-Indians are in the meeting I obviously have to stick to English.
