I have been fighting against a lifelong workaholic streak I’ve had. Hmmm, I have always been interested in learning an instrument but I’m the type that starts something then drops it. So I don’t want to put money towards it. Is anyone like this? What is it with the burst of passion then it dying and not coming back?

I do that too! I think I struggle with reasonable expectations of how fast I will learn something new or I expect that I’m just going to be bouncing with joy and inevitably it doesn’t do that.

I wish I could play an instrument but I feel like
I won’t ever have the time to practice enough.
In my case I’d love to workout like an athlete. I haven’t been able to do it on a consistent basis since I’ve been hampered with back pain for over 9 years. No doctor has been able to determine the cause. And I’ve had everything known to man done. So the obstacle has been health related
