Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

who can help me to find a job is there any one
When it comes to interview and salary negotiation practice, the tools that have truly helped my clients, and what I recommend looking for, are those that offer real time or interactive feedback. For interviews, platforms like Google's Interview Warmup and various AI powered mock interview tools (you can find several by searching "AI mock interview") are fantastic. They let you speak your answers, transcribe them, and then provide immediate insights on things like your use of filler words, pacing, clarity, and even suggest relevant keywords you might have missed. This kind of instant analysis is invaluable for refining your delivery and confidence.
For salary negotiation, while there aren't as many dedicated real-time practice tools in the same way there are for interviews, using AI chatbots like ChatGPT or Gemini for role playing scenarios can be incredibly effective. You can prompt it to act as the hiring manager or recruiter, present an offer, and then you practice your counter-arguments, asking for more information, or trying different negotiation tactics. The key is to leverage the immediate feedback, whether it's AI generated or through a simulated dialogue, to continuously adjust and improve your approach before the real thing.

I think the thing that has helped me most is just lots of practice. Never turning down an interview, even if I don't necessarily want the job. Having awkward salary conversations gives you the confidence to really negotiate when you find the job you want.
