Interviewed for the 2023 Enterprise Strategy Senior Consultant role at IBM. Went through to the behavioral interview after the case and am waiting to hear back. Any idea how long it usually takes?

Transactional junior associate in biglaw. Working for a dedicated practice group rather than in an associate pool. For the past few months, I’ve been loaned to another practice group for a good chunk of time. While the people are decent and the hours aren’t terrible, I detest the work and don’t see a future in this new practice. My main partner says it should end in the next month, but I don’t expect that to happen. Is it a terrible idea to ask to be taken off?

A successful small startup in NYC doing PE/niche executive recruiting and 2. a fairly reputable PE consulting group in Austin. Can someone pls tell me what's wrong with the HR these days. At the time of interview they agree to your expecting compensation and after you clear the interview and submit all the documents, they give wierd reasons for negotiations and stresses you out.
Like what is wrong with them, so illogical reasons to negotiate with your compensation.
