Hi all - any tips on how to negotiate a salary offer? I’ve never done it before. I’ve always accepted jobs out of desperation - but not this time! I gave them a 5k difference in range. They met me at the higher end of my range, which is great! But as a woman, I know we tend to not ask for more. I don’t want to make that mistake.

Hey folks, I'm getting an offer as a SC in EY UK. Presently I'm a manager with EY India (up for SM next yr Oct 2021). Comp is 55k range (haven't officially received the figure, a few more days it's expected, doing some homework before that).

I'll be moving with family. Wife may not immediately start working (,find a new job, we have a toddler daughter as well 2 YO).

I personally don't find this offer commercially attractive. Can someone offer some counter arguments?

I am currently working at Deloitte USI as a SCon. in Supply Chain. I have an offer from Accenture CN as a Manager (30% salary hike). I’m working on an application for an exec assistant for a ceo and the application wants desired salary. I feel like that’s a trap. If I put something to low that’s great for them but if it’s too high I don’t want my app to be tossed immediately. What should I do?

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.
