What is the best part of a pharma org to land in? Optimizing for pay, respect/decision making within org, work life balance, and lowest likelihood to be targeted for layoffs? For example I’ve heard R&D is constantly undervalued and strategy is frequently targeted for layoffs. What’s your POV on the below orgs?

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job
