What is the customer success manager role like at Salesforce or a similar company? I have been in change management consulting for several years and just got an interview for a customer success manager position at Salesforce. How hard is the job? Is it just glorified customer support? Is there any quota you’re tied to? How much of your time is spent in meetings with customers? 30%? 40%?

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work.
