Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

OP here— I currently make low 200s including bonus and this position would be $265k plus 10-20% bonus. No 401k match and it’s a hybrid position. This is a publicly traded company and my current company is private.
Also edit to add that there’s no LTIs or equity component offered yet. Interviewer said something about maybe being to grant something in October but “can’t make any promises”.

Assuming you deal mostly in leasing and general day-to-day legal. I would guess around $175-200k…
This is right for my company with that grad year. Would also include ~20% cash bonus and ~15% ESOP for total comp in the mid 200s. Maybe adjusted higher for the HCOL in SF.
Youd get mid 200 all in base bonus and RSUs at my company. Also HCOL and likely at senior counsel title.

I would be very surprised if someone in retail with less than 10 YOE was getting mid 200s.
OP, do you have a general idea of what they’re paying for the position? Or, what are you making in your current role?
