Hello all, this is my first post! Currently at US Bank as a mortgage officer and looking to go to Chase. I’m on the third rd of interviews for a Relationship Banker position and have 7 years Military leadership experience, 7 years sales which include 3 years mortgage lending. Was looking to move up in our company but from what I’m understanding, we have to have a degree in management. How would I go about trying to move up in and out of my position without a degree?

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

I have a confusion to join cognizant,bcoz lot of controversies heard about cognizant,but i have no way,Since i had only one offer letter,also my DOJ is on November first week.Can you guys provide the view on joining to CTS.

Joined in 10th September, have not filled goperform. Can't fill it so since it first asks to fill Skill profile which I did submit but my manager is not able to see any pending approval. Why so complex system they've made, does it make sense for me to submit this ? What are the consequences ? If I am not able to submit it by 22, will they not consider me for default hike ?

I rejected Cognizant offer at last minute after accepting offer letter. Do they still consider my profile if I apply after 1 year??

Recently I cleared 2 technical rounds and had salary discussion with HR on 26th July.
When I enquired about offer letter last week, hr replied in mail that "Since your education under blacklist with cognizant, we are unable to process with your offer. Many of college alumni are already working with cognizant. Even mailed them what part of education is blacklisted but they are not replying.should I still expect offer letter from them?

I joined cognizant this Jan 2022. I thought that they give hike like regular companies in Mar-May 2023. But now I come to know they release hike letters in October only :(
