Who in this group does groups with Eureka Math?
I am a full time teacher and have an online tutoring platform. I am looking for math teachers for the platform as we are currently at capacity. This is a way to supplement your income doing what you are best at. We do all the leg work, you just show up and shine your light. If interested, email me at aimee.buckley@study.help
For anyone using Khan Academy and Canvas I made a free application built on a Google Spreadsheet that reads in Khan Academy CSV files and sends the scores to the Canvas gradebook. Demo video below and link to site. Hope it helps someone! The setup takes a bit but it has made grading Khan exercises so much easier and quicker.

Factoring. Breaking down equations in so many different ways.
Polynomial functions and their graphs. The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra. The use of DESMOS now that we are hybrid has been a great help to the connections.
Is the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra basically the fact that a polynomial has the same number of roots as it's degree?
Tough decision.......probably solving equations or multiple representations
Love equations and probability, but actually love all of it! Love seeing the light bulb come on for students
probability. It is so simple and hard at the same time. I love it!
Graphing Rational functions! Everything comes together so gorgeously! Ugh, I love it!
Yessssss! I really love analyzing and graphing rational functions so much!! 😭
Factoring polynomials in multiple ways!9
(not the 9 😂😂😂)
Solving equations and inequalities are my favorite. If you go wrong, you can always go back and find the mistake. The best part of all...you can fix it!
Exponential growth and decay functions. ❤️❤️
I love the algebra involved with trig, especially solving equations and proving identities.
But as you said, my students hate all of it! 😆
Anything to do with Ratios and Proportions
Statistics. It’s my Jam!!!!
I love explaining the unit circle and encouraging all the connections to geometry and Pythagorean Theorem. And the fractions when you throw in radian measurements. Love it!
Using quadratics to solve trajectory problems. The kids actually love these and when they realize all the different forms of quadratics are useful, I just get giddy!! #mathnerdforlife!
Do you have an interesting way to explain endpoints and scale on this topic? I’m getting ready to teach this topic again and students didn’t get it last year.
