Exercise! Finding time to fit in walks and short runs.
Walks are so helpful, very true
Massages!
Definitely!
non-chemical skin care.
recs: Kjaer Weis makeup, Suntegrity 5-in-one tinted face moisturizer (sooo great and goes well under makeup), Dr Haushka deodorant & toner, Leafology (small UK brand i adore) for overnight face oils, makeup remover, lip stuff, lotions, masks, you name it. Aesop for hand soap & sanitizer (🤑).
also recommend myofascial release (considered "medical massage" or bodywork). game-changer for so many muscle issues.
gamechanger, really! i had some back issues due to childbirth and then various other issues from injuries or whatever. solved it every time. but beware: painful!
I am getting a massage at least every 2 weeks. (They are affordable where I'm located). I am also doing something else 1x weekly that is for me and has nothing to do w/ work. Taking a fun class, visiting a coffee bar, etc.
Love these! Thank you
Yin Yoga. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s mostly a very relaxing meditation. I can come in as a ball of stress and come out in total peace.
I try to get in once a month for a facial or massage. That is my me time and something I really look forward to. I schedule it in advance so it is already on the books for the upcoming month and I don't skip it unless I absolutely have to.
