Think about the reason your client hired you. You're there for a purpose and you're there to achieve the end goal of somehow providing value to the client. However, the focus isn't the client. It's in how you're developing a set of very specific and robust skills that you will use to further your career. Find your passion in your career and pursue that.
To buy that house with a huge backyard nd pool nd stuff.. Buy a brown doberman pup.. Name him Whisky ! Nd then buy a masserati levante .. Thats all...

I know how you feel OP! Definitely losing steam in this profession, but use it as an opportunity to figure out what you really love. Your experience in consulting can get you in the front door at so many places

You should be happy to work with the people with whom you work. It's so important! I know it's definitely one of the important reasons why I'm so happy to get up in the morning :)
I like to think that the skills learned in consulting are universal and can be transferred to a field more interesting to me
