Remember the guy a few weeks ago asking if $430k was enough to live in Miami. The dichotomy
this hurts to say, but I feel like $45,000 isn't enough to like comfortably anywhere. which is less about the salary and more about how stagnant wages are compared to cost of living.
regardless - if you're remote, find a lower COL with public transportation into Miami.
it's the ole DC strategy: live far as fuck but near a metro stop.
I live in Miami. 45k will not cut the typical “live comfortably”. Happy to answer further questions if you could define what comfortable means to you. This city is no longer cheap. It was affordable pre-Covid.
I don't think so.
Did you miss a zero?
Where do you live now? Miami isn’t cheap. Everyone’s comfortable is different but you probably need a lot more than that to live comfortably in Miami.
I doubt it. I mean there are probably plenty of places in Florida and in the south where a $45,000 annual salary would be more than enough to live comfortably. However, I would not think Miami is one of the major cities in Florida and probably one of the few places people actually want to live which is going to make it a little pricey.
No, the answer is No.
