Hi guys, After CAF completion by last week, yesterday I received a call from the HR for the second round of evaluation. So, I attended it yesterday and performed well by answering 90-95% of the questions. Even the interviewer gave good comments on my performance. But suddenly today I received an email that my candidature isn't suitable for the role and they're keeping my profile in the database. Does this mean they'll call me if there are openings with some other project?

One of my big hang-ups with biden tax plan is raising corporate tax across the board. Why raise taxes on businesses when we've just found out how fragile it is to be able to run a small business?Why not at least propose some kind of progressive corporate tax structure if you want to raise taxes on corps?

CFP thinking of taking a few month career break to search for a new position. Need a recharge and to reevaluate, not to mention time to search. Would this be a mistake? Thanks

I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. One calls for 5+ YOE, the other calls for 10+ YOE. Any ideas on the approximate comp and level for those positions?

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…
