What time do you log off for the day? I am strict about no work after 5PM so I can spend time with my Family.

About to finish my first year. I’m a specialist. Only going to hit 65% of my hours (took a 4 week vacation cause of wedding/hm).

I never say no to work and i have fantastic reviews, and the head of my practice (with whom I work a lot for) has great things to say about me.

I’ve been fully utilized starting ~June, but first few months were slow. Am i fine?!

Anyone move to BDO from Big4 in Tax at the Senior Manager or Director level? Thoughts on WLB, revenue goals, path to partner, development of staff, etc?

A lot of people here seem to glamorize MANGA positions - good pay, and good WLB. There has to be a catch, right?

How is WLB at a MM fund different from a MF? I’ve heard MF are worse on average, but what makes it worse? Is it just the hours, or is the work also significantly different?

Why do leaders keep comparing how “good”the new staff/seniors have it because they make more money starting out then they did and working 55 hours is better than the 70-80 hours they used to work? Instead they should compare what options they have available to them and what their goals are.
