Hey all! While I stay in quarantine to assess a potential COVID exposure, I figured I’d host an Ask Me Anything for the above topics/ career tracks.

How is everyone getting Fall/ Spring/ summer internships? Are you all applying on the company website/ LinkedIn page. Networking to recruiters? Through college career center. I've been applying and not getting anything? Any tips or advice?

Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget. Just passed my notary public exam and going for the notary signing agent test next. I would like to gain some experience with the notary public and put the skills to the test. Does anyone have any advice regarding on how to do this? I’m trying to do this as a part/full time gig depending how it goes. I’ve heard good things and money is there. I’m trying to transition out of property management, at least the 9-5pm situation. Has anyone tried the notary signing agent gig, how has it worked out?
