I think we have a limit per meal $75 but not sure how strongly it’s enforced
MDs can override the limit. Otherwise it can get thrown back on you and you just eat the difference. I’ve definitely spent $75 on booze and expensed it as dinner to bring to a friend’s house on the road
They were great although I prefer not to go back on the road 😂
Expense policy pretty liberal?
Just signed on with A&M MAS as well! Pretty excited for it. Do you think travel will become the norm again? I too am hoping for lighter travel, wfh has been up my alley
It’s going to be project dependent, but I think leadership is definitely on board with more of a hybrid approach. Meaning we definitely won’t be there 4 days/week every week but rather maybe at the beginning and end of projects or every other week, something in between.
Thanks A&M1! Curious what are your typical work weeks like? I know more hours means more bonus but curious what an avg work week looks like / if I can expect to have a functioning social life outside of work
Sure DM me!
Is every project a grind or it’s mostly DDs that will make you burn midnight oil ? Also are the grinds in sprints with few light weeks after few busy ones or it’s just non stop 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Thursday ? What do you guys do if you burnout ? Do you request time off ? Move to a lighter project ? Money sounds amazing but how is it sustainable with kids ? I’m currently in interview process with A&M but all these posts about everyone being workaholic is making me question if I want to continue. Would appreciate comments on how others manage.
I’ve never worked at another, I came from industry
I am pretty frugal with dining out and travel because at the end of the day, the money we save internally goes towards our bonuses :)
With that said, I just expense things like I’d spend my own money. Don’t be that guy who buys business class flights for a client trip...but it’s ok to stay at an upper mid range hotel and eat a decently generous dinner while on the road.
🤞🏻I’m on projects with AM2 & AM1 and not AM3
