First purchase would be a duct tape. So that I can keep my mouth shut :)
Facts!! Some tape for my husbands mouth too

I’d buy a new car for my mom. She’s been driving the same car since I was in high college
I'd do the same, and I'd also buy a house to live in until it was completed. Building a custom home is my long term dream.
First I’d retire. Then maybe a second home somewhere warm.

I think I’d start my own thing… I’ve always wanted to have a restaurant. I’m not sure I’m the type of person who would enjoy retirement
The first thing I would have to do is get over my initial instinct to not spend one thin dime. The second thing I would have to do is make sure my husband doesn't succumb to his natural instinct and buy a $2 billion house with a 30-year mortgage. We're in our 40s, house is paid for, kids are out on their own. Oooooh. Year-long cruise tickets. Make that "ticket." Just kidding. Hmmmm.
First of all, hiring my very own finance team so it's a lot less of a hassle for me handling all that money. Then building a house that could fit my whole extended family if they come over for holidays and whatnot. the rest, I'd invest.
