I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

That really depends on so many things. You have to factor in your years of experience, the average pay for that role, and the location. I would do your research and then decide what is fair to ask for.
Yeah I thought this was the best way to approach it, cheers!
Always try to go in with some knowledge of what the job pays. If the company can't provide you with a pay range for the position that's a bad sign. The upper end of the pay range is generally unattainable, that would be for people with extensive experience or special skills. Shooting for the middle of the pay range would make sense. As long as you ask for something that seems serious you should be okay.
Shouldn’t ever ask for the top of the range? Or is it always safer to aim lower?

I always go in with a range of what I want to ask for along with good justifications for why I deserve to be paid that. you just need a reasonable range
Okay that’s fair, I feel like the company will always pick the lowest number on that range though won’t they?
