Super suburbia. There's some improvement in like the cedar hills area but it's all McCharacter. At the same time far fewer City issues like mass homelessness, graffiti etc etc.
Downtown has a few good dives but I’d never choose to live there
Got it. Thx
I live right between Portland downtown and Beaverton and it’s perfect. Easy access to the city and suburb and hikes. Beaverton has some great food!
Update for anyone interested. I’ve visited a few times now and am impressed. The Beaverton downtown is actually a cool, but slightly limited, place with some good options. ExNovo is a great brewpub with well-crafted beers and the most uniquely tasty pizza I’ve ever had, no joke, it’s special/different. Loyal Legion from Portland’s East is there too now. Afuri Japanese is great. Binary brewing recently opened and breakside is building at the moment. SeeSee’s cafe and lionheart are good coffee joints. To top it all off you get this in area that is policed diligently so you feel safe and there are no vagrants or meth addicts roaming or sleeping on the streets.
