How did everyone do in terms of their bonus this year? Mine didn’t exactly meet my expectations to say the least and I feel like any reason they give after the year we had just sounds ridiculous.

In my offer letter, nothing is mentioned about variable pay, but the recruiter had mentioned to me about 0-12% variable. Am I missing anything. Do they have any variable component in the salary or not.
