What’s a salary range for someone starting their marketing career? I am graduating soon, and I want to apply to jobs. However, I’m sure if google average for marketing positions are correct. For reference, I live in Chicago and have had 3 marketing internships already. I am interested in content marketing, but I would be interested in considering other areas in marketing.

How much to expect?

Received an offer for a Product Manager role from a midsized financial services company for $120k base + 15% bonus. Currently making $130k + 15% bonus in consulting with 4 yoe. Is this a good offer? Should I ask for more base or signing bonus? Or is this pretty fair? Very inexperienced in salary negotiations.

Can anyone anyone help with a salary range for a senior E&S UW. 5 years of experience. Interviewing but don’t want to sell short for my salary expectations.

Any non-native English speaker here? I’ve been here in the states for over 10 years and looking back I am amazed by how I survived corporate America and how tolerant my colleagues have been towards me. Nevertheless, it’s hard to escape from imposter syndrome. I also caught myself rationalizing my slightly lower-than-market comp with my language skills. Any thought or advice?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY)..
