I'd say theres no need to minor in anything at all unless he really wants to. It doesn't matter past the first job out of college
No need for a minor if you want to do accounting unless it’s for credits. I agree with just doing something he enjoys. Information systems isn’t easy and if he isn’t very interested in it, it’ll be stressful for something that may not matter
Having done it for 20 years, as the others stated, no need to get a minor.
