What’s the best way to go about applying for a job at your client? My boss knows I’m not particularly happy but I think they like me, so maybe start there and get their buy in to advocate for me? Put out a feeler with a close client? Apply through the website? I just don’t want my current company to know I’m looking if this doesn’t work out 😆

Put in my notice 2 weeks ago. Last days is this Friday. Partner I work for has been a total dick. Multiple other partners have reached out to say they’re sorry to see me go. Partner I work for has since been a bigger dick. Seriously tempted to tell him off and/or actually be honest in my exit interview with HR. I know that means “burning a bridge”, which is bad. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation?
