Sticks in my craw that no one tries to be more innovative with their comp plans for non-sales employees. Very significant roles and requires hefty talent (like OP) and the bonus is small and lazy.
It’s like you can only be financially motivated if you are in sales.
That’s true. I don’t feel motivated by these flat bonuses. I have helped countless times our sales team closed the deal without expecting any monetary benefit.
10% here. Should have negotiated but I was leaving a bad situation and wanted out.

Our base varies for tech arch’s- 130k- 200k
Do you get RSUs too
That’s not when you said when you were asked about RSUs. You said you only received at time of initial employment
At my prior firm I was getting Salary, RSUs and bonus. Now I rolled my RSUs into salary and get a bonus
I'd say 10-15% of base is the norm in Consulting around M-SM levels.
