What’s the most important thing you look for on a job listing? I want to make sure my experience at least somewhat aligns with the prerequisites

Well yeah, that's pretty important. I also appreciate a salary range, some comment about room for growth or professional development, and any information about the team you'll be working with. Those are always the things I look for, but salary range is most important to me.

Salary range and the ability to work remotely are the biggest for me. I've been remote for years and have no plans of going back if I don't have to. There are fewer remote opportunities now than in the early 2020s, but they're still out there.

For me, it's the benefits and salary lol. The money first, then benefits, then responsibilities..

Salary and working from home are the two biggest factors that I look for. When it comes to matching my skill set, I'll usually apply for anything above a 60% match.

I'm always watching for how they talk about the job. If they make it sound like it's going to be thankless and exhausting even with the most gracious spin on it, I don't even bother.

Hi fishes, I want to move to management consulting. Current role is an internal data science consultant for driving OpEx.
Background: MS in Statistics from tier-1 Institute, 3 YoE across Bank of America and UBS, based in India.

Is it possible without a) going for an MBA b) Starting from the bottom at Undergrad analyst level.
Would ideally target pre-MBA Associate level (one step short of post MBA level).

Any leads/strategy to crack this would be greatly appreciated.

3 YOE in Marketing through internships in college, followed by 2 years Financial Operations/Data Tools full-time. I got an offer for $75K at TekSystems for a Market Analyst role. I gave them a range of $70-75K, so they gave the max. But I am questioning asking for a bit more given insurance is apparently on the higher-end and I want to ensure I didn't low-ball myself.

Just to note, this is about a 25% increase compared to what I am currently making.
