Seems like a middle of nowhere Canada problem. London has underwhelming food.
Agree on the lack of good Mexican in the UK- but that is changing. Kol is pretty good (but expensive) if you haven’t tried it. I guess it makes sense why good Mexican food is more common in the US. But the US struggles with variety overall
The public transportation system - Londoners complain when there’s strikes or disruptions. But really, the accessibility is unmatched by most major cities (Singapore is accessible too but it’s got a way smaller network; don’t even talk abt the gross NYC subway…)
What are you on about? Food here is amazing.

London's food is generally bad. The best thing about it is that it is a English speaking financial hub with cash and relative stability.
What are some of the best restaurants you have been hoping to try? There are some great ones but they are few and far between in my experience, whereas in France , good eating at affordable price points is a common affair.
Best thing about London is access to other countries but they recently bungled that up with Brexit :(
Agree with the French bit, the food gets heavy after a week. Would love for some recommendations for food in London from yourself D1, interested in bakeries and must-try lunch/dinner experiences and maybe a cocktail bar.
