Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

In the Bay Area? 150-180ish base, 15% performance bonus, 150-250ish equity grant vesting over 4 years. May also be able to get 30-50 in signing bonus
Thanks D1! Is the equity grant you mention annual or a one time grant?
One-time grant at signing. Subsequent annual grants are noticeably smaller, but can vary quite a lot based on performance
Sounds good, thanks much!
Is this for L4 or L5? Are you assuming 2 years of product experience ?
Was thinking L5/L6
Could you please elaborate on the Levels?
You would probably be a L4. Comp would be lower than what D1 provided
If you get an L4 offer don’t take it
OP- I think L4 is fresh MBA- no product experience and L5,6 are successive levels with 2 year promotion windows each and L6 is Sr PM. With 2 years of post MBA, you should come in as L5 but they sometimes slot people at L4 given the lack of product experience. Interview is typically for L4/5 and the level is determined based on interview performance.
Others- is this right?
Thanks BCG1! Does this resonate with others as well? The leveling conversation with the recruiting team has been very opaque so far!
Ask them. They are usually pretty open about it.
Sounds good, thanks!
