I’m a nurse of 9 years looking to break into health informatics. I’ve held roles at the bedside, nurse leadership, and quality improvement. I have a MHA with a specialization in Informatics but the program didn’t have a practicum. I can’t sit for my Nursing Informatics certification because I don’t have hands on hours. Had a very unpleasant experience with the entire interview process at Paytm. First of all they kept all three rounds in a single day . It started from the morning and ended up till the final round at late evenings. After all the rounds were cleared, the HR asked for the expected package, and when I gave him my quote which was just 35% more than my current CTC, he got reluctant and said we only have a budget of an X amount which was just 10% more than my current CTC. 2 year 10 months experience as an financial analyst in the industry. Deloitte has an offer of 86k coming in as a consulting analyst. Did not asked about signing bonus yet. Also received an industry offer of 91500.
According to recruiter, I’ll be a high level analyst and most likely be a C next year. Might not be able to match industry offer cus lack of experience to be a C yet.

Do you think it’s bad form/ unprofessional to flip badges when a contract is lost? I’m not sure if it’s just leadership bullying, but they’re discouraging staff to take other offers from the winning company.

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

What's the market these days for someone with not-great technical skills, 12 YOE, TS clearance, hard-to-find/unique skillset, elite masters, middle management in DoD contracting, experience with critical/high profile roles?
