How is the salaries , living , etc....?
would you recommend that i move to Germany?

Started at firm in second week of March and am at 1,700 right now, on pace for 2,000+. M&A 7th year. Who else is this busy? Keep reading M&A down across the board, but not feeling it here…

Can someone tell me if this is legal? The organization I work for pulled some of us aside today and said they are going to pull back on our salaries to cut costs. Can they do this? Do I have any options here? Can I simply refuse to go along with this?

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

Are we overthinking the comp, benefits, wlb and the sort?
Sometimes I wish I could just do the job and not think about any of those things. But then I look at the time and nine hours passed by and I still have three hours left before I can say that I made a ding to my To Do list for the day.

Do you do it (more) for the pay or for the job?

1) Already have an offer and accepted;
2) Now get a second offer with 20k more than 1)
3) Interview process with FAANG and if accepted, will get 40k more than 2)
Should I now decline 1) and accept 2), and in case I got an offer from FAANG, then decline 2) immediately? Is it like really bad?

Do these companies negotiate? When & how should I start negotiation with them ?

I joined a new consulting firm and have been here for 6 months. Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies. My current TC is 95k. Is it worth making the jump if the offer is north of 110k? Anything I should look out for? The client and coworkers were all nice, but I remember being stressed on the project due to limited resources.

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I’m confused by all these posts about Product Owners. I’ve worked at 3 Bay Area-based tech companies over 6 years and never heard of a Product Owner. As a product manager, i work with my engineering and design partners to figure out what to build and then build it. What role would a product owner play in all this? My honest assumption is that this role was invented by companies that want to pretend to be doing agile but aren’t really, but I’m open to being proven wrong.

I got an Offer from Quess Corp, who is hiring for client Implesys. Initially I was told its a 11 months contract. Arranged interview with the VP of Marketing, Impelsys. After 2 days, they called me and told that the client ( Impelsys) selected me and they would go for Final round directly. After next 2 days, they called me and told there is no final round and I'm directly hired and I should immediately join from tomorrow. I felt forced and they didnt give time for me after requesting a lot.
