I have been at PwC for almost a year now but I am getting swamped with work and not sure how I like my team. My team is huge and I feel like they are inconsiderate of my time and make me feel stupid. I would say I am still learning everything because its been 10 months since I started working. Anyone leave after a year and where did you transfer to? I am thinking of switching firms because I do think big4 teaches you great skills, but my busy season being 6 months and another bc planning not ok.

Most of my staff are very weak when it comes to developing meaningful recommendations to address internal audit issues other than saying “control broken, fix it”. Does anyone have suggestions about good courses, certifications, or reference materials around business process optimization or developing meaningful recommendations?

I’m currently the portfolio accounting&control manager at a private lender. I established our risk assessment and control practices in 2017 due to their being a dire need for it and our COO assigning it to me. It quickly became something I enjoy doing and would like to make a career jump to strictly Risk Mgmt. I’ve been applying to multiple roles but haven’t had any luck. 9YOE/5YOE in Mgmt. Thanks
