One of my favorite things I do is take my 7th & 8th graders to our elementary school and put on a STEM Carnival for 1st grade and Kinder (its a K-2 School, we’re adding 2nd next year). The younger kids learn a lot, but it’s amazing how much the older ones do too

I did catapults with my preschoolers one time, the next day they figured out how to make them with the large wooden blocks in the block area. They launched foam pieces, pillows, stuffed animals. They tried to launch each other, but discovered they were too heavy. Haha.
The US Army and NJSBA started a STEAM tank competition (similar to Shark Tank). I took 35 kids this year who all competed. They gave up a Saturday to do it!
