The day I got my license.
Day I drove a car for the first time. My dad said you are driving a 2 ton killing machine and need to be extremely careful and respectful.
More like, when did I realize I'm operating a lady killing machine every time I go out!!!
Me too 😞. Literally nothing happened, but the thought of what could have happened if she hadn't been extra cautious from her side is super scary.
My first solo - my mother said, "there is no eraser big enough..." it has stuck with me ever since. And from the perspective of a cyclist, I think about it every time a car impatiently passes too close instead of putting a little space between us. Been "brushed" twice. Nothing permanent, but freaks the crap out of me.
If you are a gear head and like to drive aggressively (once in a while) assuming you have a 'killing machine' I highly recommend doing few track days. It teaches you things that you will never be able to learn from else where. Having the control of your machine is the key. Good luck! Have fun but not in expense of others'.
I've got a lady slaying machine but it's not a vehicle...
So glad nothing happened... drive safely
Yeah I would never intentionally get too close to a cyclist or pedestrian. Things seemed out of control today! But important lesson learned, and thankfully not the REALLY hard way.
HC1 is a limp douche. So smallllll
