I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Solid Post-MBA EU high finance programs? Currently at a top MBA program in the EU, but it seems Post-MBA recruiting is much less prominent in the EU. It seems like most positions require similar experience pre-MBA, which I do not have.

Evaluating a job offer (yay!)
I have 8 years of HR experience, no college degree, and no HR certification. Titles held have been HR Specialist, HR Administrator, HR Generalist, Associate HR Manager, and most recently, HR Director for only four months (toxic). Geographically speaking, salaries are not very high. I was offered $45k in an hourly role as a site HR rep for a hotel with about 50 employees in a bustling college town. Should I try to negotiate more pay? Any input is appreciated.

1. Genpact - 27 CTC (24 fixed + 10% variable plus gratuity) Manager level
2. Airbus - 23 CTC + 5 L JB
I really wanted to work with Airbus but they are not budging from the offer of 23 even after I told them I have a better offer from Genpact with better position. HR said they will come back..

I moved to San Antonio much bigger city from W Texas 2.5 years ago just all before the pandemic office closing - then moved to Wfh My reporting manager advised from w to office they would review my salary to reflect my new location. but my employer now 2 years later indicate that since I am a wfh employee they will not review my salary to make any change to reflect the move. I’ve always been very interested in joining the gaming industry, but unsure if it’s worth giving up the security and brand name of Amazon.
