Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? I’m a former Big 4 revenue cycle consultant now leading the net revenue valuation and analytics at a large West health system with two current openings. One is in the data shop (SQL, cloud migration, Clarity) and the other is on the analyst side (budget/forecast, variance/trend analysis). Offshore team for the grunt work allows us to focus on value-add, including collaboration with our data scientists on integrating machine learning into our processes. Providence Health & Services

We are pretty much in every major city, but largest contingents outside of NYC are probably Dallas, Chicago, DC and Atlanta. They will probably encourage you to go to an office with a large group because it eases onboarding and improves retention, but we’ve hired people into smaller offices like Austin and Portland. Let me know which city you are interested in and I can tell you if we have senior folks there
C1 - typical consulting situation where travel depends on client desires, project needs and leadership preferences. For many of us, it is the typical M-TH travel schedule. I’ve been fortunate in my career to avoid those situations for the most part and travel sporadically (~50% average). Others travel very little.
OP - SF has a decent number HC people and LA is a little smaller. I would think either of those would be acceptable locations for new hires to choose
Thanks EY1! What about in LA or SF?
Also C1, most do not go into the office on Friday
Do you guys wfh or travel every week? Do you have to go to NYC office everyday you are not on client site?
From my experience LA HC group is much stronger and larger than Dallas... used to be in LA then moved to Dallas office.
